Account Based Marketing Sales Specialist at Pythian

You will join Pythian as an Account Based Marketing Sales Specialist, working remotely on a full-time basis. Pythian helps mid- and large-sized organizations harness data and cloud technologies to compete more effectively, delivering advanced on-prem, hybrid, and multi-cloud solutions. Founded in Ottawa in 1997, the company now employs more than 370 people worldwide and serves over 350 clients across SaaS, media, gaming, financial services, and e-commerce. With deep expertise spanning ETL to machine learning and strong partnerships with AWS, Google, and Microsoft, Pythian supports businesses that need to stay ahead in a rapidly changing digital economy.

What you'll be doing

• Partner with the marketing team to review active campaigns, refine messaging, and identify the best ways to engage qualified leads.
• Carry out targeted outreach through calls, emails, and social channels to nurture prospects generated by marketing initiatives and move them through the sales funnel.
• Present Pythian’s data, cloud, and GenAI solutions clearly, track every interaction in the CRM, and provide regular updates on pipeline progress.

What you'll bring

• Three to five years of experience in a sales development role, ideally within database, data analytics, or GenAI environments.
• Hands-on familiarity with HubSpot, LinkedIn, 6Sense, Salesforce, and Google Workspace.
• Strong organizational skills, a proven record of meeting sales targets, and the ability to manage multiple leads at once.
• Self-motivation and energy to work independently while collaborating effectively with teammates.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for engaging a wide range of clients and colleagues.
• Proficiency in English.
