CourseCareers is an online education platform dedicated to replacing the traditional college system by helping students launch high-paying careers without needing a degree. We are looking for a skilled YouTube Video Editor to join our remote team and help us scale our educational content across 40 different channels.

Responsibilities

Produce high-quality, educational talking-head videos that typically range from 7 to 15 minutes in length.
Maintain a high volume of output, aiming to contribute to our goal of publishing over 400 videos per month.
Apply advanced retention editing techniques to keep viewers engaged throughout our educational content.
Collaborate with our team to create content that effectively explains alternative career paths to our audience.
Take on potential leadership responsibilities, including hiring and managing other editors, as you grow within the company.

Must-haves

Proven experience editing talking-head educational videos that have achieved at least 100,000 views.
At least one year of professional experience editing content specifically for YouTube.
Demonstrated ability to handle a high-volume workload of at least 5 videos per week.
Deep understanding of retention editing strategies.
Full fluency in English.

Benefits

This is a full-time, remote position offering a base salary of $40,000 per year.

Base salary of $40,000 USD.
Monthly performance-based bonus pool, which allows you to earn additional income based on the profit generated by your videos.
The flexibility of a fully remote work environment.
