The role
We are looking for a Senior Workplace Technology Engineer to join our team on a full-time, on-site basis. You will be based in one of our offices in Dallas, Austin, or Houston. In this role, you will be responsible for building, deploying, and supporting our endpoint management platform. You will play a critical part in standardizing and securing our Windows, iOS, and macOS environments, ensuring that our global team has the tools they need to be productive and secure.
Core responsibilities
- Serve as a subject matter expert for our Microsoft 365 environment, including Entra ID, Exchange Online, Intune, and Microsoft Defender.
- Manage the full lifecycle of our device fleet, including Apple hardware and Windows devices, through automated enrollment and patch management.
- Develop and implement support strategies, such as creating technical runbooks and documentation, to empower our Service Desk team and ensure efficient resolution of technical issues.
Skills and experience
To be successful in this role, you should have extensive professional experience in technology, with a focus on M365 architecture and endpoint management. We are looking for the following qualifications:
- At least 10 years of professional technology experience, including 5 or more years specifically as an M365 Engineer.
- Expertise in Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune, and PowerShell scripting for environment management.
- Proficiency with Apple MDM platforms like Jamf or Kandji.
- Strong understanding of authentication protocols, network terminology, and security compliance controls.
- Preferred experience includes administration of Okta, Azure, and SaaS applications like Atlassian or Adobe Creative Suite.
