The opportunity
We are seeking a Workday Engineer II to join our team in India on a full-time basis. In this role, you will act as a bridge between our People Teams, IT department, and global stakeholders. Your primary mission is to support and enhance our Workday ecosystem by delivering scalable, high-quality solutions. You will be instrumental in ensuring our systems remain efficient, user-friendly, and perfectly aligned with our evolving business goals.
A day in the life
- You will translate complex business needs into well-structured Workday configurations, including managing Business Processes, Notifications, Reports, Calculated Fields, and Security.
- You will lead the end-to-end project lifecycle, from gathering requirements and mapping workflows to defining test scenarios and supporting user acceptance testing.
- You will serve as a primary point of contact for operational support, troubleshooting incidents, and identifying creative opportunities for system automation and process improvement.
Who you are
You are a mid-level professional with 2 to 4 years of hands-on experience in Workday HCM. You possess a sharp business-analyst mindset and have a natural ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels. You are comfortable working with minimal supervision and thrive in a fast-paced environment where your attention to detail is highly valued. Proficiency in English is essential for this role. While not required, having experience in Absence Management, Workday Integrations, or the VNDLY application would certainly set your application apart.
