We are currently looking for a Senior Windows Application Packager to join our team for a six-month contract. Our organization focuses on maintaining robust technical environments, and we need an expert to help manage our software deployment lifecycle. This is a full-time, on-site position based in the United States where you will play a critical role in ensuring our applications are packaged and deployed efficiently across our infrastructure.
Key outcomes
- Package and manage application updates using Flexera Admin Studio, InstallShield, and Workflow Manager.
- Utilize VMware ThinApp to support our virtualization needs.
- Maintain high standards for IT documentation to ensure all processes remain transparent and accessible.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to resolve technical challenges and communicate project status updates.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of recent, hands-on experience in application packaging.
- Deep technical knowledge of how software installs and functions within Microsoft Windows environments.
- Proficiency in managing Active Directory, including the ability to query and modify Microsoft Registry settings.
- Strong working knowledge of both MS Windows server and desktop operating systems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- A proven ability to create and update comprehensive technical documentation.
