We are looking for a Senior Web Project Manager to join our team at a prominent asset management firm in the United Kingdom. You will work alongside our business analysts and project managers to drive our marketing initiatives and lead our upcoming web re-platforming project.
Responsibilities
- Own the full lifecycle of multiple projects, including resource allocation and final delivery.
- Identify project risks and develop effective contingency plans to keep work on track.
- Provide regular updates on progress, issues, and risks through formal reporting, group meetings, and forums.
- Maintain all necessary project documentation and ensure compliance with internal governance standards.
- Translate complex business requirements into high-level specifications and design documents.
- Act as the primary bridge between our business stakeholders and our external web development vendors.
- Refine and improve our existing business processes to drive better outcomes.
- Oversee testing requirements and coordinate responses to ensure high-quality delivery.
Must-haves
- Between 5 and 10 years of experience in project management within the Investment Management sector.
- Deep knowledge of investment industry processes, specifically within Marketing and Distribution.
- Strong grasp of the project management lifecycle and digital systems architecture.
- Experience with development frameworks, particularly Agile or RAD methodologies.
- A proven track record of collaborating with external vendors, consultants, and global stakeholders.
- Hands-on experience with web projects, including re-branding, site improvements, and transactional website implementations.
- Fluency in English.
- Understanding of data and application architecture.
