We are a fully distributed team founded in 2019, and we are looking for a creative, strategic developer to join our engineering department and help us tell our story through our digital presence.

What you bring

As a Senior Web Developer working in a full-time, remote capacity from anywhere in the world, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining our web presence and internal tooling. You will partner with our product, design, and marketing teams to ensure our site is performant and reflects our brand identity. Your core responsibilities include:

• Developing and maintaining tailscale.com, covering everything from landing pages and documentation to sales forms and knowledge-base tools.
• Managing and optimizing our self-serve content publishing workflows within our headless CMS to empower creators across the organization.
• Collaborating with our business operations team to implement tracking and analytics, ensuring our go-to-market strategy is supported by high-quality data.

Requirements

We are looking for a candidate who possesses a deep technical understanding of modern web standards, performance optimization, and accessibility. You should be a design-driven developer who cares deeply about implementation details and maintains excellent communication skills. We value your ability to work independently while providing and receiving constructive feedback. Ideally, you bring experience with headless CMS platforms, utility-first CSS frameworks, and various experimentation or segmentation tools. Proficiency in English is required, and familiarity with technologies like NextJS, Sanity, Vercel, and TailwindCSS is highly beneficial.
