We are looking for a Senior Watertreatment engineer to join our team on a part-time, on-site basis in Russia. Our company currently manages produced water by separating it and re-injecting it directly, but we are facing challenges with rising pressure in our injection wells due to contamination. We need an expert to help us design a robust water treatment system to resolve these issues and improve our operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with our reservoir engineers to establish the specific water quality standards required for successful injection.
- Analyze our existing system parameters and current water quality data, including oil, solids, and chemical composition, to identify immediate procedural improvements.
- Lead the selection process for the optimal design of a new water treatment plant, providing expert guidance on equipment such as hydrocyclones, wash tanks, filters, IGF, and TPI units.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you must be a specialist in produced water treatment with significant experience in engineering and process design. You should be comfortable working in an on-site environment and possess the technical expertise to evaluate complex chemical and mechanical systems. Proficiency in English is required to ensure clear communication with our engineering teams.
