VP SVP of Engineering at Weave

We are currently seeking a Vice President or Senior Vice President of Engineering to join our team in the United States. This is a hybrid role based in our Lehi, Utah office, where you will be expected to work on-site at least 50% of the time, reporting directly to our Chief Product and Technology Officer, Branden Neish.

Key outcomes

• Define and execute a comprehensive technology roadmap that aligns with our broader strategic business objectives.
• Provide leadership, mentorship, and inspiration to a global engineering organization of approximately 150 professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
• Oversee the architecture and delivery of secure, scalable, and high-quality SaaS products that drive significant revenue growth.
• Collaborate across the executive leadership team to design technology solutions that provide a competitive advantage and meet the needs of our business.
• Manage engineering budgets and operational metrics to ensure high productivity, efficient delivery, and consistent engineering standards across all locations.
• Attract, develop, and retain world-class technical talent while promoting an inclusive and highly engaged work environment.
• Ensure the long-term reliability and security of our technology infrastructure while proactively integrating emerging technologies like AI and ML.

Requirements

• At least 10 years of experience in senior technology leadership roles.
• Demonstrated success in scaling a software business to exceed $200M in revenue.
• A proven history of building and managing high-performing, geographically dispersed engineering teams.
• Deep expertise in SaaS architectures, cloud-based technologies, and agile development methodologies.
• Strong command of the software development lifecycle and a clear vision for how AI and machine learning can improve product quality and development speed.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions and partner effectively with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Professional proficiency in English.

Preferred qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, with a Master’s degree or PhD considered a plus.
• Prior experience working within the healthcare industry.
• A strong appreciation for world-class UX and UI design principles.
• A customer-centric mindset with a willingness to engage directly with our key clients.
• Exceptional presentation skills and a passion for driving innovation.
