VP of R&D at DoiT

The role

We are looking for an experienced VP of R&D to join our executive team on a full-time basis. This is a high-impact, remote leadership role based in Israel, where you will oversee our global engineering organization of more than 50 talented professionals across the US, EMEA, and APAC. You will report directly to our Chief Product Officer and play a pivotal role in shaping our technical strategy, driving innovation, and ensuring our cloud-native products continue to set the standard for the industry.

Core responsibilities

• Define and execute a comprehensive engineering strategy that aligns with our long-term company vision and business objectives.
• Lead, mentor, and scale our distributed engineering teams while fostering a culture of technical excellence, accountability, and innovation.
• Oversee the full lifecycle of software development to ensure the delivery of secure, scalable, and reliable solutions that provide tangible value to our customers.

Skills and experience

To be successful in this role, you should possess a strong background in software engineering and executive leadership. We are looking for the following qualifications:

• At least 15 years of experience in software engineering, including a minimum of 10 years in leadership positions within B2B SaaS environments.
• Deep technical expertise in cloud-native technologies and major public cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, and Azure.
• A proven track record of managing distributed teams and successfully delivering complex, large-scale software projects.
• Strong proficiency in systems design, software architecture, and modern development practices.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to bridge the gap between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders.
