We are a growing team of over 70 people, and we are looking for a visionary leader to help us accelerate the transition to smart accounts and shape the future of digital asset management.

The opportunity

We are seeking a VP of Engineering to serve as the project-wide lead for our technical operations. In this role, you will coordinate our various sub-teams across both Wallet and Core, acting as a strategic partner to our leadership. You will be responsible for scaling our technical efforts, ensuring the security and reliability of our infrastructure, and fostering a culture of excellence. This is a pivotal position for someone who wants to influence the direction of a project that manages real-world assets and sets the standard for interoperability in the blockchain ecosystem.

A day in the life

• Provide strategic guidance and leadership to our engineering managers, including those overseeing our Wallet, Core, Protocol, and Data teams.
• Oversee the quality, scalability, and security of our technical architecture while managing crisis response and long-term roadmap planning.
• Optimize coordination between internal teams and external partners to ensure effective knowledge sharing, efficient budget management, and clear process implementation.

Who you are

You are a seasoned leader with at least 5 years of experience managing technical projects and agile engineering teams. You have a deep understanding of software engineering and have successfully architected scalable systems through various lifecycle stages. You are comfortable working in a hybrid environment and are fluent in English. Your background includes:

• Expertise in at least one core technical area, such as DevOps, backend development with Python, or client development.
• A strong grasp of CI/CD processes and the ability to apply your knowledge across different programming languages and stacks.
• Proven leadership skills in hiring, performance evaluation, and utilizing frameworks like OKRs to drive team success.
• A proactive mindset, with the ability to identify process improvements, delegate effectively, and challenge decisions to ensure the best outcomes.
• Familiarity with Solidity, the EVM, and open-source blockchain projects is considered a significant advantage.
