What is this role?
We are searching for a VP of Data Governance & Quality to join our team in a full-time, executive-level capacity. This is a hybrid position where you will play a hands-on role in architecting our data management ecosystem. You will be responsible for designing and implementing our data governance function, ensuring that our systems meet the highest standards for quality, accessibility, and security.
What will you do?
- Establish Data Governance and Data Quality as a core authority within the organization while partnering with business stakeholders to manage data at the source.
- Design and oversee robust data warehousing solutions that support our diverse business units, including retail, reinsurance, and investments.
- Provide thought leadership on advanced data processing techniques and collaborate with IT teams to integrate innovative technologies that ensure data integrity and security.
What makes you a great fit?
You have a strong background in data management and a proven track record of leading large-scale business transformations. You are a natural leader who can communicate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. Your qualifications include:
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science or Information Technology.
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience with MDM systems integration, reference data management, and data governance frameworks like DCAM or DAMA.
- Deep technical proficiency in SQL, data warehousing concepts, and ETL/ELT processes.
- Experience with data mapping tools and platforms such as Reltio, Alation, or Collibra.
- A demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive organizational change.
