Angel Studios is a unique platform that empowers thousands of investors to choose which creative projects get funded and distributed, effectively reshaping the media landscape. Known for global hits like The Sound of Freedom and Dry Bar Comedy, we are looking for a Senior Video Editor to join our team in the United States to help us continue crafting stories that amplify light.
Responsibilities
- Organize, edit, and compose high-quality audio and visual content for our various branding initiatives and live broadcasts.
- Enhance footage by adjusting lighting, color, and sound, including selecting music and incorporating voice-overs.
- Incorporate graphics and visual effects to create engaging content that aligns with our brand voice.
- Review all projects thoroughly to ensure they are free of errors and technical mistakes before publication.
- Manage raw footage and digital assets efficiently to prepare for streaming and production needs.
- Operate camera and lighting equipment when necessary to support production goals.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure final products meet our high standards and thematic goals.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and software to maintain industry-leading quality.
Must-haves
- At least 3 years of professional experience as a video editor.
- Expert-level proficiency in Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve.
- A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Strong command of the English language, both written and verbal.
- Proven ability to manage multiple assignments, set priorities, and solve problems in a fast-paced environment.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience working with After Effects for motion graphics.
- A Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field.
