Your Impact
The Part-Time Video Editor will be responsible for editing engaging and high-quality video content for various platforms, including social media, email campaigns, YouTube, and our website. You’ll work closely with our creative team to help capture the essence of the BOTE brand—adventurous, bold, and authentic.
What You’ll Do
- Edit short- and long-form video content for marketing campaigns, product launches, lifestyle stories, and social media.
- Collaborate with content producers, graphic designers, and the creative director to ensure consistent brand messaging.
- Incorporate motion graphics, sound design, and color correction as needed.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Organize and maintain video assets and backups for easy retrieval and future use.
- Stay up-to-date on current video trends and platform-specific best practices.
What You’ve Accomplished
- 2+ years of video editing experience, preferably in an outdoor or lifestyle brand environment.
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro; After Effects and Photoshop experience a plus.
- Strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, and visual aesthetics.
- Familiarity with social media platforms (Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube) and how to edit for each format.
- Ability to take direction and feedback constructively.
- A passion for outdoor adventure, watersports, or the BOTE lifestyle is a big plus.
