Since our launch in 2022, we have established ourselves as a vital partner for major solar asset owners, providing advanced technology to recycle and renew solar panels. Our team is composed of experts from industry leaders like Amazon, Nextracker, and SunPower, all working toward a future where renewable energy is truly scalable and environmentally responsible.

The role

We are looking for a seasoned executive to join us as our Vice-President of Technology. This is a full-time, hybrid position based in the United States. In this high-impact role, you will serve as the right hand to our CTO, providing strategic leadership to our research and development efforts. You will begin by managing our domestic R&D team of approximately 15 people, with the scope of your leadership expanding to oversee our global R&D operations by the end of next year.

Core responsibilities

• Provide high-level strategic guidance and visionary leadership for our entire recycling technology team.
• Direct complex R&D initiatives, including the development of innovative processes for recycling both silicon and CdTe solar panels.
• Manage the full lifecycle of research projects, ensuring excellence in scheduling, financial oversight, resource allocation, and adherence to stage-gate systems.

Skills and experience

To be successful in this role, you should possess a deep background in technology and a passion for renewable energy. We require the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s degree in science, engineering, or a related technical field.
• At least 10 years of professional experience in R&D, with a specific focus on recycling technology or the broader renewable energy sector.
• A proven track record of successfully leading and mentoring technical teams.
• Strong expertise in program management and the ability to communicate complex research findings to stakeholders at all levels.
• Fluency in English.
