Welcome to the world of SRTX, where we bridge the gap between cutting-edge technology and textile innovation. As a certified B Corp, we are deeply committed to accountability and sustainability. We are best known for creating Sheertex, a knit made from one of the world's strongest polymers. Recognized as one of TIME's Best Inventions, our product offers incredible durability, helping our customers move away from disposable tights and reducing waste in landfills. Our team of over 250 problem-solvers works together in our combined factory and office headquarters, fostering a culture of collaboration where every person has the chance to make a lasting impact on the industry.

What is this role?

We are looking for a Vice President of Process Engineering to join us in a full-time, executive-level capacity. This is a hands-on, on-site role based in Canada. You will be the driving force behind our fiber and polymer processing operations, leading the charge as we scale new products from the R&D phase into full-scale manufacturing.

What will you do?

  • Lead the strategic direction for fiber and polymer processing, focusing on optimizing our production lines to improve yield, quality, and environmental sustainability.
  • Manage our pilot line operations, ensuring that new product developments are transitioned seamlessly and efficiently into mass production.
  • Build and mentor a high-performing team of process engineers while collaborating across departments to integrate advanced technologies like automation and data analytics into our manufacturing processes.

What makes you a great fit?

To succeed in this role, you should be a seasoned leader with a deep technical background. We are looking for the following qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Polymer Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field, with a Master’s degree or PhD being a strong plus.
  • Between 10 and 15 years of experience in textile, fiber, or polymer manufacturing, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership or process engineering position.
  • Expertise in fiber extrusion and polymer processing, paired with a proven track record of managing pilot lines and scaling products.
  • Strong project management abilities and a passion for implementing sustainable manufacturing practices.
  • Fluency in English to communicate effectively with our diverse, cross-functional team.

What's in it for you?

We value our team members and offer a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your well-being and professional growth. You can look forward to:

  • Comprehensive dental insurance and health benefits.
  • Generous paid time off and sick leave.
  • A dedicated learning budget to support your career development.
  • Helpful commuter benefits to make your journey to our office easier.
