What is this role?

We are looking for a Vice President of Engineering to join our team in Stockholm on a full-time basis. This is an executive-level position where you will lead our engineering efforts across hardware, firmware, and manufacturing. You will be a vital member of our leadership team, responsible for shaping our technical vision and ensuring our products maintain the highest standards of security and reliability from design through to mass production.

What will you do?

• Build, mentor, and lead high-performing engineering teams, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and collaboration.
• Define and execute the technical strategy for hardware and firmware systems to ensure our security products remain at the cutting edge of the industry.
• Oversee the end-to-end product development lifecycle, working closely with manufacturing and operations to ensure scalable, high-quality production.

What makes you a great fit?

To succeed in this role, you should have a deep background in hardware and firmware engineering and a proven track record of delivering complex products at scale. We are looking for a strategic thinker who can bridge the gap between technical execution and business goals.

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Over 10 years of experience in hardware and firmware engineering, with at least 5 years in a leadership capacity.
• Strong expertise in manufacturing processes, including prototyping, assembly, and supply chain management.
• Hands-on experience with embedded firmware development, low-level programming, and secure hardware technologies.
• A solid understanding of security protocols and cryptography.
• Fluency in English is required, and proficiency in Swedish is considered a plus.
