Vice President, Data & AI Strategy at PadSplit

The opportunity

As Vice President of Data & AI Strategy you will report directly to our CTO and shape how analytics, machine learning, and artificial intelligence serve our mission. You will unite our Analytics, Business Intelligence, Machine Learning, and AI teams into one cohesive organization, guiding investments that create real value for members, hosts, and the business while upholding the ethical standards our community deserves.

A day in the life

• You will set the company-wide AI strategy, defining adoption goals, governance standards, and clear ways to measure impact so every team can use these tools responsibly and effectively.
• You will steer the machine learning and predictive analytics roadmap, focusing on pricing optimization, risk modeling, search relevance, and new AI-powered features that improve daily outcomes for the people who rely on PadSplit.
• You will partner with Product, Finance, Marketing, Legal, and Operations leaders, turning data into clear recommendations that shape decisions and keep our data platform healthy, governed, and cost-efficient.

Who you are

You bring more than ten years of leadership experience in data, analytics, machine learning, or AI, including time spent managing other managers. You have already guided both analytics and machine learning functions inside a single organization and have taken AI solutions from concept to measurable scale. You understand modern data platforms such as Snowflake and dbt, you know how to balance innovation with responsible governance, and you can translate complex technical ideas for boards and cross-functional peers alike. You value clear communication, ethical deployment, and the chance to apply technology to a meaningful social challenge.
