UX/UI Designer at Bertram Capital Management

We are currently looking for a Mid-Level UX/UI Designer to join the Bertram Labs team on a full-time basis. Bertram Capital is a private equity firm that has raised over $3.5 billion since 2006, and we distinguish ourselves by applying venture capital operating methods to help our portfolio companies reach their full potential. At Bertram Labs, our dedicated group of engineers and marketing experts works directly with these companies to drive growth through digital transformation, e-commerce, and data analytics. This is a hybrid role based in Broomfield, Colorado, where you will be expected to work from our office on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. Please note that an active portfolio is required for your application to be considered.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and business stakeholders to shepherd projects through every stage of the development lifecycle.
• Create comprehensive user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity visual designs that align with our clients' existing brand standards and design systems.
• Identify potential edge cases in user interaction and interface design while working closely with our engineering team to ensure our final products are both technically sound and highly intuitive.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• At least 3 years of professional experience designing user interfaces and experiences for both websites and applications.
• Proficiency in industry-standard design tools such as Figma, Sketch, and the Adobe Creative Suite.
• A strong grasp of responsive design, Agile methodology, and accessibility standards like WCAG.
• A proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a detail-oriented, self-starting approach.
• Experience with web development or front-end building is considered a significant plus.
