We are looking for a talented UX Engineer to join our team as we enter an exciting growth phase. At InnoCraft, we are the creators of Matomo Analytics, an open-source platform trusted by over one million websites across 150 countries. Our mission is to liberate analytics by providing tools that prioritize privacy and data ownership. We are a fully remote, global team, and we are looking for someone who shares our passion for building intuitive, beautiful, and impactful digital experiences.
Role at a glance
This is a full-time, senior-level position that can be performed remotely from anywhere, provided you are based in New Zealand or Canada (specifically Ontario or British Columbia). You will serve as a bridge between design and development, spending roughly half your time on UX initiatives and the other half on UI implementation.
Your impact
- Take the lead on designing and developing the visual and interactive elements of our application interfaces.
- Translate conceptual ideas into efficient, functional code while ensuring every interface is accessible and user-friendly.
- Conduct user testing and feedback sessions to continuously refine our product and optimize the overall user experience.
What you'll need
- At least 5 years of professional experience spanning both UX design and front-end development.
- Strong technical proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and Vue.js, along with a working knowledge of PHP.
- Expertise in Figma for creating wireframes and high-fidelity visuals.
- A solid understanding of accessibility standards and WCAG compliance.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative spirit, with the ability to advocate for user-centered design across the team.
- Fluency in English.
