User Acquisition Manager at TechBiz Global GmbH

We're excited to connect experienced performance marketing professionals with a short-term project that focuses on expanding into the South Korean market. Our client is an international company looking for targeted guidance to establish a strong presence in Korea, and this role offers the chance to share specialized expertise on a flexible, remote basis.

What is this role?

This is a Temporary position at the Senior level. The work is fully Remote and can be performed from anywhere. The assignment centers on advising an international client as they prepare to launch and scale operations in South Korea, with an emphasis on performance marketing and user acquisition strategies tailored to the local digital environment.

What will you do?

• Provide expert consultation on entering and growing within the Korean digital market, including identifying the most effective channels such as Kakao, Naver, YouTube, Instagram, Google, and TikTok.
• Advise on outreach strategies, media buying practices, and the setup and optimization of paid campaigns across multiple platforms, with attention to local user behavior and creative localization.
• Deliver a practical roadmap that includes actionable recommendations, A/B testing approaches, suggested tools or partnerships, and clear KPIs for the internal team to follow.

What makes you a great fit?

You bring at least three years of proven experience in user acquisition and performance marketing specifically within South Korea. Your deep familiarity with the Korean digital ecosystem, including local ad networks, platforms, trends, and user behaviors, allows you to translate data into clear, actionable insights. You have hands-on experience managing and optimizing campaigns measured by CPA, CPL, CPI, and ROAS. Fluency in Korean and proficiency in English, both written and verbal, are essential. An analytical mindset, the ability to work independently, and a track record of delivering practical recommendations are key. Experience with international companies or startups, as well as backgrounds in consulting or project-based advisory roles, are valued. Familiarity with B2C mobile apps, gaming, e-commerce, SaaS, market entry strategy, or cross-cultural marketing is considered a plus.
