About the Role

We are looking for a mid-level Underwriting Analyst to join our team in a full-time, remote capacity. In this position, you will play a vital role in our loan servicing platform by supporting our underwriting leadership and managing various aspects of the commercial loan process. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is detail-oriented and passionate about the commercial real estate industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist our underwriters, including deputy chief and chief underwriters, in the successful execution of business operations.
• Analyze multifamily and senior housing transactions by reviewing due diligence materials, generating pro forma cash flows, and preparing formal presentations for the loan committee.
• Manage the end-to-end deal process, ranging from the initial application through underwriting, closing, and final delivery to investors or servicing.

Requirements

• Strong organizational, quantitative, and analytical skills with a high level of personal initiative.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with Salesforce is preferred.
• A solid understanding of cash flow analysis and prior exposure to commercial real estate.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• The ability to work effectively in a team environment and adapt to a fast-paced, changing landscape.
• Willingness to travel occasionally for site inspections of collateral.
