We are a Bio-IT startup operating out of San Francisco and India, and we are currently on a mission to transform how clinical research is executed. Our team is backed by major institutional investors like 8vc and Optum, which is part of United Health Group. We partner with leading pharmaceutical companies to help bring medical innovations to market faster. Having recently secured over $30 million in funding, we are led by serial entrepreneurs with a track record of taking companies to IPOs or successful exits. We are looking for someone who shares our passion for building impactful technology to join our growing team.
What is this role?
We are looking for a Senior UI Software Engineer to join us on a full-time basis. This is a remote position, meaning you can work from anywhere. You will play a vital role in our engineering department by designing, building, and maintaining the high-quality web applications that power our clinical research platform.
What will you do?
- Develop and maintain user-friendly web applications using React.js, ensuring they perform flawlessly across a variety of browsers and devices.
- Partner with our UX and UI designers to turn creative concepts into functional, visually appealing interfaces.
- Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code while creating reusable components and libraries to streamline our development process.
What makes you a great fit?
To succeed in this role, you should have at least three years of professional front-end experience and a deep understanding of React.js. We are looking for someone who is comfortable with the following:
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the object model.
- Experience with React.js lifecycle methodologies, including hooks and functional components.
- Expertise in state management libraries like Redux or MobX.
- A solid grasp of HTML and CSS, including preprocessors such as SASS or LESS.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and version control systems like Git.
- A degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Fluency in English.
What's in it for you?
We value our team members and want to ensure you have the flexibility you need to do your best work. The primary perk of this role is the ability to work in a fully remote environment.
