We are currently looking for a senior Testing Engineer to join our fully remote team and help us ensure the reliability of the solutions we build to accelerate clinical trial recruitment.
Key outcomes
- Design and execute comprehensive test plans, cases, and integration tests across our entire technology stack.
- Establish and refine quality assurance processes to elevate our overall product standards.
- Build and maintain automated testing frameworks using Python for backend services and TypeScript for frontend applications.
- Create and manage CI/CD testing pipelines to streamline our deployment processes.
- Execute rigorous API, performance, and security testing to guarantee system integrity.
- Collaborate closely with engineering and product teams to validate features against requirements before they go live.
- Manage bug tracking and documentation within Jira to ensure clear communication across the team.
- Handle complex healthcare and clinical trial datasets while strictly adhering to privacy and regulatory standards like HIPAA.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- At least 3 years of professional experience in software quality assurance, encompassing both manual and automated testing.
- Strong proficiency in Python and TypeScript.
- Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks such as Pytest, Jest, or Cypress.
- Technical familiarity with Postgres or similar relational database systems.
- Practical experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins or Bitbucket.
- A deep respect for data privacy and compliance requirements within the healthcare sector.
Preferred qualifications
- Prior experience working within the healthcare technology or clinical trial industries.
- Experience specifically related to testing AI or machine learning models and systems.
