The opportunity

We are seeking a Test Engineer to join our growing team in India. In this role, you will be a vital part of our engineering organization, ensuring that our complex, distributed systems meet the high standards our customers expect. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot, test, and refine our suite of software and hardware products. A day in the life

• You will collaborate with developers and product managers to translate requirements into comprehensive test plans and structured test cases.
• You will design, develop, and execute automation scripts using tools like Selenium and Cucumber to streamline our quality assurance processes.
• You will track bugs from discovery to resolution, performing thorough regression testing and working directly with the engineering team to implement effective solutions.

Who you are

You are a mid-level professional with 2 to 4 years of experience in both manual and automation testing. You have a strong grasp of software engineering principles and are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. To succeed in this role, you should possess the following:

• Hands-on programming proficiency in Java or Python.
• Experience with BDD frameworks and web testing tools such as Selenium.
• A solid understanding of REST API testing and database architectures.
• Familiarity with performance testing tools like JMeter.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate effectively in English.
• A collaborative mindset that thrives on teamwork and cross-functional partnership.
