About the Role
We are looking for a Test Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. In this role, you will help us maintain our commitment to quality as we expand our operations. You will work closely with our engineering and product teams to troubleshoot and test complex distributed systems that span both hardware and software domains.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute automation scripts while maintaining comprehensive test plans and cases.
- Collaborate with developers and product managers to provide feedback on technical designs and ensure quality standards are met throughout the release cycle.
- Identify, document, and track bugs to resolution while performing thorough regression testing to ensure system stability.
Requirements
To be successful in this position, you should have the following qualifications and skills:
- Two to four years of experience in both manual and automation testing.
- Hands-on programming proficiency in Java, Python, or JavaScript.
- Experience using BDD tools like Cucumber alongside web testing frameworks such as Selenium.
- Proven ability to test REST APIs and a solid understanding of database architectures.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to multitask effectively within a team-oriented environment.
Location
This position is based in Kenya and follows a hybrid work model, allowing you to balance in-person collaboration with remote work.
