About the Role
We are hiring a Technology Procurement Category Manager for a full-time position. In this role, you will lead the coordination and collaboration of our technology portfolio, focusing on contract management, supplier relations, and spend governance. You will work closely with our enterprise services team and operating companies to assess our current technology landscape, implement best practices, and drive efficiency as we evolve our platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with our CTOs and procurement leadership to provide oversight and optimization for our technology portfolio and associated contracts.
- Conduct thorough assessments of existing technology agreements to identify and execute on cost-saving and performance-enhancing opportunities.
- Establish robust standards and frameworks for supplier management, risk mitigation, and technology procurement processes.
Requirements
We are seeking a senior professional with a strong background in technology procurement who can influence stakeholders across diverse business models. You should possess a solid understanding of finance and a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- A Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, finance, technology, or a related field is required, with an MBA preferred.
- At least 7 years of professional experience in procurement, sourcing, or operations with a specific focus on technology.
- Demonstrated expertise in technology contracting, negotiation, and change management.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and modern procurement software.
- A requirement to be vaccinated against Covid-19, except where prohibited by law.
Location
This is a hybrid role. Our preferred location is Charlotte, NC, specifically in the Ballantyne area. We may also consider candidates based in Dallas, TX, Jacksonville, FL, or Atlanta, GA.
