What we are looking for

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Technology Coordinator to join our team at PharmaChoice Canada from our office in Dartmouth, NS. In this role, you will play a crucial part in our transition to cloud servers and provide essential IT support across two main office locations as well as to several remote staff. The successful candidate will be responsible for working with our current IT provider to oversee SharePoint administration, addressing IT issues, and delivering training to enhance overall IT literacy within the organization. This role could potentially involve some travel to ensure adequate service for both offices.

What you will do:

Cloud Server Migration: Collaborate with IT team members and external vendors to facilitate the smooth migration of our infrastructure to cloud servers, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.

SharePoint Administration: Manage and maintain our SharePoint environment on a regular basis, including user access, permissions, document libraries, and workflow configurations.

IT Support: Serve as the escalated point of contact for IT-related issues and inquiries from staff across both office locations, providing timely resolution and exceptional customer service. Support is primarily PC related but can include Macs.

IT Software Applications: Liaison with other staff providing technical expertise on various software applications/platforms such as Microsoft 365, Salesforce, LearnUpon, Lever, IONOS, and others.

Training and Development: Source and deliver IT training sessions and materials to enhance staff proficiency with software applications, systems, and IT best practices.

Hardware and Software Maintenance: Oversee the procurement, installation, and maintenance of IT hardware and software assets, ensuring optimal performance and security.

Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of IT assets, configurations, and support activities, and generate reports as required by management.

Security and Compliance: Implement and enforce IT security policies and procedures to safeguard company data and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

What you need:

University degree or College diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.

Proven experience in IT support, preferably in a multi-site environment.

Proficiency in cloud computing technologies, particularly in migrating and managing data securely.

Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Software – Azure, Teams, SharePoint, and other 365 applications

Examples of superior organization skills required including composing various business communications and balancing and coordinating a workload of multiple projects

Problem solving - ability at identifying and resolving issues

Experience with financial activities (or strong understanding thereof) is an asset

Experience with Salesforce is an asset

Experience with Mac OS is an asset
