The role
We are searching for a Senior Technology Coordinator to join our team on a full-time basis. Based out of our office in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, you will be a key player in our ongoing transition to cloud infrastructure. This is an on-site position that requires a high level of technical expertise and the ability to provide essential support across our office locations and to our remote staff members. You may occasionally travel to ensure our systems remain robust and fully operational.
Core responsibilities
- Lead our infrastructure migration to cloud servers by collaborating with internal team members and external vendors to ensure a seamless transition.
- Manage our SharePoint environment, which includes overseeing user access, document libraries, permissions, and workflow configurations.
- Act as the primary point of escalation for IT support, resolving hardware and software inquiries for staff while maintaining high standards of service.
Skills and experience
To be successful in this role, you should possess a strong technical foundation and the ability to manage complex projects. We require the following qualifications:
- A University degree or College diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience in IT support, ideally within a multi-site organization.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft technologies, specifically Azure, Teams, SharePoint, and the broader 365 suite.
- Strong knowledge of cloud computing, including secure data migration and management practices.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects and communicate effectively in a business environment.
- Strong problem-solving capabilities to identify and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Experience with Salesforce, Mac OS, or financial activities is considered a significant asset.
