Technology Associate at GMO

We are seeking a motivated Technology Associate to join our two-year rotational program, where you will gain hands-on experience across our technology infrastructure, data processing, and application development teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement innovative technology solutions to support our investment, research, and client-facing teams.
• Collaborate with product owners and technology experts to enhance existing systems.
• Build proficiency in a variety of languages, including Python, SQL, C#, PowerShell, JavaScript, and Matlab.
• Manage enterprise service platforms by utilizing DevOps best practices, automation, and configuration management.
• Ensure the stability of production environments through rigorous testing, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
• Contribute to the team through active participation in code reviews and the creation of technical documentation.

Must-haves

• Demonstrated experience with programming or scripting through internships, academic projects, or personal work.
• A solid grasp of core technical concepts, such as cloud computing, cybersecurity, infrastructure, and data storage.
• A proven ability to see technical projects through to completion.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
• A proactive, detail-oriented mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• An eagerness to learn new systems and expand your technical skill set.
