We are looking for a Technical Writer II to join our industry-leading Product Management team at our headquarters in Santa Clara, where you will help us connect commercial and product teams to drive innovation across the high tech, medtech, and consumer goods industries.
Responsibilities
- Take ownership of our entire documentation process by establishing and maintaining best practices.
- Collaborate with product managers and technical staff to gather and analyze complex product information.
- Create and maintain high-quality documentation, including user guides, tutorials, and API documentation, while adhering to strict release schedules.
- Keep our knowledge base current with the latest features and product enhancements.
- Partner with customer-facing teams to iterate on documentation and improve the experience for both internal and external users.
- Develop visually engaging content using diagrams, screenshots, videos, and other media to ensure our materials are user-friendly.
Must-haves
- At least 3 years of professional experience as a Technical Writer within a SaaS environment.
- A bachelor’s degree in Technical Communication, English, Journalism, or a related field.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and communication skills.
- Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, and the Salesforce platform.
- A comprehensive understanding of software development lifecycles.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- Current authorization to work in the United States.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience incorporating graphics or video into technical documentation.
- Familiarity with guided help tools for in-app user assistance.
- Experience leveraging AI tools to improve documentation efficiency.
