Technical Support Analyst at BDT & MSD Partners

We are currently looking for a Technical Support Analyst to join our team in Chicago and help us maintain the high standards of service our clients expect.

What you'll be doing

• You will manage the helpdesk queue and maintain our desktop environments, servers, and applications to ensure our technology runs smoothly.
• You will diagnose and resolve technical issues, acting as the primary point of contact for our users and owning vendor support incidents from start to finish.
• You will provide white-glove support to C-level financial professionals, which includes educating users on technical procedures and handling hardware installations or relocations.

What you'll bring

To be successful in this role, you should possess a strong technical background and a commitment to professional excellence. We are looking for the following qualifications:

• A BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience, with a strong preference for those who have worked in the financial services industry.
• Deep proficiency with Microsoft technologies, including Windows 10 and 11, Office 365, Exchange Online, Active Directory, Microsoft Azure, and SharePoint Online.
• Experience supporting collaboration tools like Zoom and Teams, as well as mobile device support for iOS.
• Exceptional communication skills and the ability to explain complex technical concepts in a user-friendly way.
• A self-motivated mindset with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
