What you'll be doing
- Lead a team of 5 to 7 professionals, including software engineers and quality assurance staff, while spending at least half of your time contributing directly to our codebase.
- Ensure the delivery of performant, testable, and well-architected software within our production environment.
- Guide our technical strategy by using your expertise to design scalable solutions, particularly as we expand the capabilities of our AI Assistant and integrate new AI features across our platform.
What you'll bring
We are looking for someone with a strong background in software development and a passion for mentoring others. To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications:
- At least 8 years of professional software development experience, specifically with Python and JavaScript frameworks like React.
- Commercial experience working with Large Language Models and a deep understanding of AI technology.
- Proficiency with SQL Server and other RDBMS technologies, as well as familiarity with alternative datastores like Redis or OpenSearch.
- Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices, and cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
- A solid grasp of the .NET framework and C#.
- Excellent communication skills in English and a proven ability to manage and inspire engineering teams.
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
What you'll get
We offer a base salary range of $170,000 to $190,000, plus a bonus. As a company dedicated to learning, we truly value potential.
