Technical Product Owner at Formelio

About the Role

We are looking for a Technical Product Owner to join us on a full-time basis. In this role, you will lead a team of 4 to 6 engineers, overseeing our DVA and IOP products that facilitate data exchange across more than 20 major medical source systems in the Netherlands. Because our products feature complex back-end systems without a front-end interface, this position is best suited for someone with a strong technical background who can navigate solution architecture and data models effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate daily stand-ups and manage biweekly sprint planning to ensure your team remains aligned with development goals.
• Collaborate with management to define project scopes, establish realistic timelines, and prepare comprehensive product roadmaps.
• Analyze data within JSON files, review system logs in Kibana, and utilize API tools like Postman or Insomnia to support the development process.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience working as a Product Owner or in a comparable capacity.
• Proven experience managing senior back-end engineering teams.
• Strong communication and planning abilities to build reliable agreements with both internal team members and external stakeholders.
• Excellent organizational skills, including experience managing documentation and tasks in tools like Notion.
• Fluency in English, with Dutch language skills considered a valuable asset.
• A background in computer science or back-end software engineering is highly preferred.

Location

This position is based in the Netherlands and offers a hybrid work arrangement, allowing you to work from home or from our office at The World Trade Center in The Hague.

Compensation and Benefits
