At ThreatLocker, we are leading the charge in protecting servers and endpoints through innovative solutions like Application Allowlisting, Ringfencing, and Elevation Control. We are looking for a talented communicator who can translate complex cybersecurity concepts into clear, compelling narratives that empower our users and secure the digital landscape.

Role at a glance

We are seeking a Technical Marketing Writer to join our team on a full-time, on-site basis in the United States. This is a mid-level position perfect for someone who thrives at the intersection of technology and storytelling. You will work directly with our engineers and subject matter experts to bridge the gap between our advanced security tools and the people who use them every day.

Your impact

Produce a wide range of technical content, including whitepapers, case studies, eBooks, and product manuals that speak to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Stay at the forefront of the cybersecurity industry by researching zero-day vulnerabilities, government compliance trends, and competitive landscapes to inform our messaging.
Collaborate with our product and engineering teams to refine UX and UI copy, build out comprehensive help infrastructure, and create engaging scripts for video tutorials and presentations.

What you'll need

At least 2 to 3 years of professional experience in technical content development.
A strong command of the English language with an impeccable eye for proofreading and detail.
The ability to distill complex technical information into clear, actionable insights.
A background in cybersecurity or information technology is highly preferred, as is a degree in marketing or communications.
Familiarity with the zero trust security framework and experience using analytics to optimize user-facing content are significant assets.
Excellent problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset.
