At ThreatLocker, we are dedicated to advancing endpoint protection through our innovative suite of cybersecurity tools. Our platform provides enterprises with critical defenses, including Application Allowlisting, Ringfencing, and Storage Control, to effectively block application vulnerabilities. We are currently looking for a Technical Marketing Writer to join our team on a full-time, on-site basis in the United States. In this role, you will bridge the gap between our complex technical solutions and our audience by producing clear, high-quality content that highlights our commitment to a more secure digital landscape.
Key outcomes
- Collaborate with our engineers, developers, and subject matter experts to translate technical concepts into accessible content for both technical and non-technical readers.
- Produce and maintain a variety of materials, including whitepapers, case studies, eBooks, product manuals, and FAQs.
- Stay current with cybersecurity trends, such as zero-day vulnerabilities and government compliance, to inform our content strategy.
- Develop scripts for video tutorials, presentations, and advertisements.
- Manage our user assistance infrastructure, including the creation and refinement of help sections and how-to guides.
- Refine UX and UI copy to ensure a seamless experience for our users.
- Create visual assets like infographics and screenshot markups while serving as a primary proofreader for the marketing department.
- Test and update existing documentation to ensure accuracy and adherence to our internal style guide.
Requirements
- At least 2 to 3 years of professional experience in technical content development.
- Strong ability to distill complex technical information for a general audience.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a proven aptitude for problem-solving.
- Proficiency in using analytics to measure and improve the effectiveness of user-facing content.
- Fluency in English.
Preferred qualifications
- Prior experience working within the cybersecurity or information technology sectors.
- A Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, or a related field.
- Familiarity with the zero trust security framework.
