Technical Marketing Writer at ThreatLocker

Our platform is at the forefront of the industry, offering a comprehensive suite of solutions including Application Allowlisting, Ringfencing, Storage Control, Elevation Control, Endpoint Network Control, and Configuration Management. By focusing on blocking the exploitation of application vulnerabilities, we are helping organizations adopt a more secure and resilient approach to their digital infrastructure. We are currently looking for a Technical Marketing Writer to join our team on a full-time, on-site basis in the United States.

Key outcomes

• Produce high-quality technical marketing collateral by collaborating closely with our engineers, developers, and marketing experts.
• Develop, refine, and proofread a wide range of content, including whitepapers, case studies, eBooks, product manuals, and FAQs.
• Stay informed on the latest cybersecurity trends, such as government compliance, zero-day vulnerabilities, and vendor comparisons, to ensure our content remains relevant.
• Draft scripts for video tutorials, presentations, and advertisements.
• Maintain and improve our in-house style guide to ensure consistency across all communications.
• Design infographics and create screenshot markups to enhance our technical documentation.
• Draft and refine copy for user interfaces and user experiences to improve product usability.
• Build and manage our user assistance infrastructure, including help sections and how-to guides.
• Test existing documentation to verify accuracy and perform proofreading duties for the broader marketing department.

Requirements

• At least 2 to 3 years of professional experience in technical content development.
• Strong proficiency in the English language with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Excellent attention to detail and a proven ability to solve problems effectively.
• Demonstrated skill in using analytics to measure and improve the performance of user-facing content.

Preferred qualifications

• Prior experience working within the cybersecurity or information technology industries.
• A bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, or a related field.
• Working knowledge of the zero trust security framework.

Compensation

This role is based in an office environment and requires the ability to perform standard physical tasks, such as sitting, walking, and occasionally lifting up to 25 pounds. We offer a professional environment where you will contribute to the growth of our security solutions.
