What is this role?

We are seeking a Technical Lead to join our technology department on a full-time basis. This is a senior-level position that requires at least 7 years of experience in object-oriented development. You will work in a hybrid environment, collaborating with stakeholders across engineering, data science, and analytics to build high-performance, scalable systems.

What will you do?

• Guide your team technically by creating system designs, including both high-level and low-level architecture, while promoting best coding practices and design patterns.
• Identify and evangelize new frameworks and methodologies to improve the efficiency and availability of our software products.
• Take ownership of components from end-to-end, which includes conducting proof of concepts for new tools and critiquing architecture to ensure it evolves effectively from inception.

To be successful in this role, you should have a strong background in software engineering and a passion for building scalable services. We value candidates who possess the following:

• Extensive experience with object-oriented languages like Java or C++ and a solid grasp of algorithms and data structures.
• Hands-on expertise with Linux environments and cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
• Proficiency in at least one UI technology, such as JavaScript, jQuery, AngularJS, or ReactJS.
• Experience working with SQL databases like MySQL or Postgres, as well as NoSQL solutions like MongoDB, Cassandra, or HBase.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to manage stakeholders effectively.
