Technical Lead Cloud Data Warehouse at MassiveInsights

We are looking for a senior Technical Lead to join our team in a full-time, remote capacity. Our organization specializes in delivering high-impact data solutions that help our clients navigate complex business challenges. In this role, you will act as both a strategic consultant and a hands-on developer, guiding our data engineers, analysts, and architects as they modernize data infrastructure. You will be instrumental in designing and implementing robust data warehouses, lakes, and marts while ensuring our technical strategies align with the specific needs of our clients.

Key outcomes

• Provide technical direction and oversight for project activities, including scheduling, resource allocation, and the establishment of development standards.
• Lead the delivery of cloud-based data warehouse and lake solutions by collaborating closely with internal and client-side engineering teams.
• Assess existing data landscapes to improve collection methods, data quality, and overall reporting capabilities.
• Architect and build efficient ETL, ELT, and data pipeline processes to handle large volumes of structured and semi-structured data.
• Oversee data modeling, architecture, and governance to ensure our solutions remain high-performing and secure.
• Define metadata and security standards to maintain the integrity of our data warehouse development.
• Contribute to pre-sales efforts and solution engineering while mentoring junior team members to foster professional growth.
• Manage project communication, documentation, and testing to ensure successful delivery across all engagements.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should possess extensive experience in data architecture and engineering. We require a deep understanding of data warehouse design, data modeling, and the implementation of complex data pipelines. You must be proficient in ETL and ELT processes and have a strong grasp of data governance principles. Excellent communication skills in English are essential, as this position involves direct consulting with our clients and coordination across various departments.
