About the Role

This is a full-time, lead-level position designed for someone who has already navigated the challenges of early-stage startups or hyper-growth companies. You will work directly with our CTO and co-founder to lead our engineering efforts, focusing on shipping products quickly while maintaining high standards for reliability and developer experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Mentor and unblock our engineering team to ensure we maintain a high velocity of delivery.
• Make rapid architectural and security decisions that balance immediate speed with long-term system resilience.
• Design and implement world-class developer workflows and tooling to eliminate friction and improve overall team output.

Requirements

We are seeking candidates with a background in 0 to 1 product development or hyper-growth scaling. You should be comfortable with our primary technology stack, which includes TypeScript, React, Node, SQL, Express, Redux, Docker, GCP, and Kubernetes. Beyond specific technical skills, you must possess:

• Proven experience in engineering leadership within venture-backed startups.
• A deep commitment to AI-assisted workflows and modern developer experience.
• A pragmatic mindset that prioritizes time-to-value and rapid iteration cycles.
• Strong instincts for system architecture, observability, and performance monitoring.
