At miDiagnostics we develop advanced diagnostic technologies that sit at the intersection of biomedical science and engineering. Our team in Belgium is growing, and we are looking for a hands-on Technical Engineering Assistant to support prototype research and product development alongside experienced engineers and scientists.
Key outcomes
- Assist in the assembly, testing, and verification of prototype equipment used in diagnostic technology development.
- Collaborate with engineers and scientists to troubleshoot mechanical and electronic systems and improve overall performance.
- Apply and expand practical skills in CNC machining, 3D printing technologies, and precision measurement instruments.
- Contribute to both the technical and scientific aspects of ongoing research and development projects.
Requirements
- Professional bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in one of the following fields: electromechanics, mechanical engineering, mechatronics, biomedical technology, industrial sciences, automation technology, or precision engineering.
- Practical, proactive mindset with a clear interest in assembling, testing, and solving problems involving mechanical or electronic systems.
- Willingness to learn new technical skills, including CNC machining, 3D printing, and the use of precision measurement tools.
- Strong command of English for effective teamwork and documentation.
