We are looking for a Senior Technical Editor to join our team in a full-time, remote capacity. Our company focuses on supporting aviation safety and compliance by transforming intricate corporate and technical data into clear, user-friendly documentation. In this role, you will work independently to manage large documentation sets, ensuring that every project meets our high standards for quality and consistency while collaborating with stakeholders across the globe.
Responsibilities
- Utilize tools such as Microsoft Word, XML, and HTML to structure, format, and publish professional technical content.
- Take complex or incomplete source material and refine it into accurate, compliant, and easy-to-understand documentation.
- Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of large-scale documentation projects while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and workflow efficiency.
Requirements
To be successful in this position, you should possess a strong background in technical writing or a related field, along with the following qualifications:
- Exceptional written and verbal English communication skills.
- Proven experience in maintaining and editing professional technical documentation with a high level of attention to detail.
- Proficiency with Jira, Zendesk, and CMS platforms.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a remote environment.
- A collaborative mindset, capable of working effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
