About the Role
We are looking for a Technical Developer to join our team on a full-time, on-site basis. In this mid-level role, you will act as the primary owner of your products, guiding them through every stage of the New Product Introduction process. From initial prototyping and development to final validation and bulk production, you will ensure that our high standards for quality and construction are met while keeping our seasonal calendar on track.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end development of products by collaborating with cross-functional partners in our Design Center and at the ARC’One facility.
- Analyze critical quality areas and construct mockups to determine the most effective parameters for bulk production.
- Partner with manufacturing engineers to review time studies, assess performance efficiencies, and develop new tooling or equipment to optimize our processes.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should bring a blend of technical expertise and organizational skill. We are looking for the following qualifications:
- At least 3 years of experience in the apparel or textile industry, or a combination of relevant education and experience.
- A solid understanding of the full product development cycle, including garment construction, pattern making, and production methods.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- The ability to manage competing priorities and navigate ambiguity with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
- Strong interpersonal skills, allowing you to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Location
This position is based at our ARC’One manufacturing office in New Westminster, Canada.
