Technical Data Analyst at Flourish

Key outcomes

• Collaborate with product development teams to ensure we capture the data necessary to measure our business performance effectively.
• Architect, deploy, and maintain robust ETL pipelines and data warehouse infrastructure.
• Utilize Tableau to create, automate, and manage essential dashboards, reports, and interactive data sets.
• Conduct ad hoc research and analysis to provide actionable insights to internal stakeholders.
• Document your work thoroughly and mentor both technical and non-technical colleagues on how to utilize our data resources.
• Take full ownership of projects, from identifying the root cause of a problem to communicating the final solution to internal customers.
• Drive continuous improvements in our data warehouse efficiency and evaluate the effectiveness of our analytical tools.

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field or equivalent professional experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in business intelligence, data engineering, data science, or related technical roles.
• Proficiency in SQL, preferably with Postgres.
• Experience with Python and its data-focused ecosystem, such as Pandas and NumPy.
• Demonstrated expertise with BI visualization tools like Tableau.
• Familiarity with major cloud services providers.
• The ability to manage concurrent workstreams, set deadlines, and work with minimal supervision.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with a proven ability to explain complex data to non-specialist audiences.

Preferred qualifications

• An MS or PhD in Computer Science, Math, Physics, or Engineering.
• A strong track record of building automated reports and data pipelines from inception to production.
• Experience using source code control systems like GitHub.
• Prior experience working within a heavily regulated industry or a fast-paced, growth-stage startup environment.

Compensation

The base salary range for this position is $95,400 to $148,400, plus bonus and incentive opportunities. We also provide a comprehensive benefits package, which includes:
