What you bring

We are seeking a Senior Technical Author to join us on a full-time, on-site basis in India. You will act as an information developer, working closely with our documentation team to produce high-quality technical content. Your expertise in Product, Markdown, Git, Jira, CSS, AI, SQL, AWS, and Python will be vital as you navigate our Agile environment. Your core responsibilities include:

• Creating and maintaining comprehensive product documentation that is both accurate and user-friendly.
• Conducting research on emerging features while communicating regularly with engineers to ensure our documentation stays ahead of product development.
• Advocating for new strategies and technologies to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our documentation processes.

Requirements

The ideal candidate is a perpetual learner who thrives in a fast-paced software environment. You should possess a strong background as a technical author within a SaaS company, paired with excellent composition and grammar skills. We look for individuals who understand the Docs-as-code philosophy and are comfortable using tools like Visual Studio Code, Git, and Jira. You should have a working knowledge of cloud computing platforms like AWS, as well as experience with SQL, Python, and static site generators. A user-first mindset is essential, as is the ability to resolve problems independently. Proficiency in English is required, and we value candidates who are comfortable leveraging generative AI tools to enhance their productivity.
