As a manager on our Technical Account Management team, you will serve as the essential bridge between our security operations experts and our clients, ensuring our services align perfectly with their business goals while fostering long-term partnerships in a fully remote environment.
Responsibilities
- Act as the primary technical point of contact for your assigned accounts to ensure successful service delivery.
- Lead the Technical Account Management team, defining internal processes and providing mentorship.
- Collaborate with Account Managers to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and meet specific client requirements.
- Oversee the full service lifecycle, including onboarding, monthly operating reviews, and quarterly business reviews.
- Monitor key performance indicators and metrics to ensure we remain compliant with service-level agreements.
- Coordinate with our internal SOC and engineering teams to resolve technical inquiries and manage escalations.
- Translate complex threat reports and incident analysis into clear, business-focused insights for our clients.
- Provide expert guidance on risk mitigation, compliance frameworks, and security best practices.
- Identify opportunities for service expansion and support renewal efforts.
Must-haves
- At least 5 years of experience in a client-facing cybersecurity role, such as a Technical Account Manager or Security Analyst.
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles and technologies, including SIEM, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and vulnerability management.
- Proven experience managing enterprise-level accounts within a managed services environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present technical data to diverse audiences.
- Familiarity with major compliance frameworks like NIST, ISO 27001, PCI-DSS, or HIPAA.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Relevant industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CompTIA Security+.
- Proficiency with major SIEM platforms and previous experience working at an MSSP or MDR provider.
