Role at a glance

We are seeking a Tech Lead for IT Quality Assurance to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a lead-level position that offers a hybrid work environment. While you will have the freedom to work from home, you will occasionally visit our office for hands-on hardware testing. We are open to candidates located anywhere, provided you are comfortable with our remote-first culture and can collaborate effectively across our distributed team.

Your impact

• Lead and mentor a talented team of QA Engineers to ensure our software and hardware products meet the highest quality standards.
• Develop and execute comprehensive testing strategies, including the implementation of automated testing frameworks.
• Conduct hands-on testing of our custom POS hardware and software to identify improvements and ensure a seamless user experience.

What you'll need

• Several years of experience in quality assurance, ideally with a background in team leadership.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript for test automation scripting.
• Hands-on experience with modern testing tools such as Cypress and TestRail.
• The ability to create detailed test plans and execute rigorous test cases.
• Excellent communication skills in German, ideally at a C1 level or higher, along with professional proficiency in English.

The base salary for this role is EUR 56,000 gross per year, with the potential for higher compensation based on your specific qualifications and experience.
