Tech Lead Fullstack Java React at Decathlon Digital FR

Our MyGame team, based in Lille or Nantes, is currently looking for a passionate individual to help us improve how store managers organize their shops using predictive economic data.

What is this role?

We are seeking a Tech Lead Fullstack to join our team on a full-time, on-site basis. This is a senior-level position where you will guide a multidisciplinary group of seven software, quality, and operations engineers, plus a data engineer. You will be the driving force behind our technological excellence, ensuring that our interactive applications provide the best possible experience for our teammates in the field.

What will you do?

• Take ownership of the technical architecture to ensure our solutions remain scalable and ready for future growth.
• Lead the technical direction of the development team, overseeing code quality, security standards, and the implementation of test-driven development practices.
• Collaborate closely with product management to translate functional requirements into robust, high-performance technical solutions.

What makes you a great fit?

To succeed in this role, you should have at least five years of experience as a Java and React developer. We are looking for someone who brings a deep understanding of modern software engineering and a collaborative spirit. Your background should include:

• Expertise in front-end patterns and architectures, specifically using React 18+ and TypeScript.
• Significant experience designing and implementing end-to-end microservices using Java 17 and SpringBoot 3.
• A strong grasp of CI/CD pipelines, containerization with Docker and Kubernetes, and comprehensive testing strategies.
• Proficiency with PostgreSQL and a solid understanding of monitoring and alerting tools.
• An interest in information system security and a proactive approach to adopting emerging technologies.
• Fluency in English to communicate effectively within our international digital environment.
