We are looking for a Team Lead, Software Engineering to join our collaborative team in a permanent, hybrid capacity within Canada.
Responsibilities
- Lead the daily development activities for a team of three engineers focused on cross-airline products.
- Oversee the technical health of the team, including architecture, reliability, security, and the implementation of best practices.
- Provide technical guidance on engineering processes, such as code reviews and deployment strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional product and engineering leaders to align on project priorities.
- Mentor team members by providing career guidance and professional development opportunities.
- Participate in hands-on coding tasks and contribute to high-level architectural decisions.
Must-haves
- 7 to 10+ years of experience leading software projects or development teams.
- At least 7+ years of experience with Java and Spring for backend development.
- At least 7+ years of experience with ReactJS for frontend development.
- At least 2+ years of experience leading developers across various technical levels.
- Strong commitment to software design, testing, documentation, and support practices.
- Excellent communication skills and a deep belief in the value of teamwork and cooperation.
- Fluency in English and French.
