Column is a unique hybrid of a bank and a software company, built from the ground up to modernize the financial services landscape. Our founders have deep roots in scaling industry leaders like Plaid, Square, and Affirm, and we understand the friction that traditional banking infrastructure creates for developers. By eliminating the complex web of middleware and third-party vendors, we provide a safer, more transparent, and efficient banking supply chain. We are currently looking for a Senior Talent Partner to join our team in San Francisco and help us scale our organization by attracting exceptional talent.

Key outcomes

• Own the full-cycle recruiting process for a diverse range of roles, including specialized technical and leadership positions.
• Act as a strategic partner to our leadership team, helping to define hiring needs and craft effective recruitment strategies.
• Develop and execute proactive sourcing campaigns to build robust pipelines of both active and passive candidates.
• Provide data-driven insights on market trends and hiring best practices to continuously improve our internal processes.
• Serve as a brand ambassador to ensure every candidate receives an outstanding experience throughout their journey with us.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to the evolution of our recruiting operations as we grow.

Requirements

• 6 to 7 years of experience in full-cycle recruiting, with a strong background in in-house start-up environments.
• Proven expertise in managing niche, technical, and executive-level searches.
• Advanced proficiency with LinkedIn Recruiter, applicant tracking systems, and modern sourcing tools.
• A strategic mindset with the ability to build trust and influence senior stakeholders.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• A genuine passion for the financial technology and banking sectors.
• Ability to work on-site at our Presidio office in San Francisco at least 3 days per week.

Preferred qualifications

• Prior professional experience specifically within the financial technology or banking industries.

Compensation

The annual base salary for this full-time position is between $165,000 and $200,000, plus equity. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
