The role
We are seeking a Talent Partner, Credentialing & Compliance to join our team as a contractor. This is a mid-level, remote position that plays a vital role in upholding our talent strategy and organizational integrity. You will work closely with school and operational leaders to manage the complexities of teacher credentialing and human resources compliance, ensuring that our schools remain fully equipped to support our students and staff.
Core responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of teacher credentialing, including planning, scheduling, and monitoring activities to ensure total quality and regulatory compliance.
- Interpret complex regulatory requirements and communicate them clearly to internal teams and external accrediting bodies to maintain high standards of operational excellence.
- Develop and implement robust internal controls, processes, and reporting systems that align with our organizational objectives and federal, state, and local mandates.
Skills and experience
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree or at least three years of professional experience in human resources compliance and credentialing.
- Specific knowledge regarding teacher licensure and regulatory requirements for charter public schools in California.
- Proficiency with business software, including Excel and HRIS reporting tools, with Workday experience considered a significant plus.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to build credibility and influence stakeholders across all levels of the organization.
- A detail-oriented mindset, a high level of integrity regarding confidential information, and the ability to solve problems creatively in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English.
Compensation and benefits
The compensation for this contract position is 67,000 USD per year. In addition to this, we provide the following benefits:
